Remmit Privacy Policy
Remmit is built so that we never see your data.
What we collect
Nothing. Remmit has no accounts, no servers, and no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. We cannot see what you capture, and we do not want to.
Where your data lives
Everything you capture — photos, PDFs, extracted text, matters, reminders — is stored only on your device, protected by iOS Data Protection (encrypted while your device is locked). Documents are read and understood using Apple's on-device Vision framework; no image or text ever leaves your iPhone. If a future version offers iCloud sync, your data would sync only through your own private iCloud account, end-to-end within Apple's infrastructure; we still could not read it.
Purchases
Subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed entirely by Apple. We receive no payment details.
Focus Lock and Screen Time
If you enable Focus Lock, Remmit uses Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) framework to shield apps you choose. Apple's design means Remmit only ever receives opaque tokens — it cannot see which apps you selected or how you use them, and no Screen Time information is transmitted anywhere. You can revoke this permission at any time in Settings → Screen Time.
Notifications
Reminders are scheduled locally on your device. No push servers are involved.
Analytics
None. The app keeps a handful of anonymous counters (for example, how many matters you've created) on your device only, to power in-app features. They contain no content and are never transmitted.
Your controls
Export: Settings → Privacy → Export all data (JSON). Delete: Settings → Privacy → Delete all data — removes everything permanently. Deleting the app deletes all data with it.
Children
Remmit is a general-audience life-admin tool and is not directed at children.
Changes
If our practices ever change, this page will be updated first and the app's App Store privacy label will be corrected before any change takes effect.
